What is CoaXPress-Over-Fiber (COF)?

CoaXPress-Over-Fiber (COF) is a technology that transmits conventional CoaXPress signals over optical fiber,
enabling high-speed data transfer even over long distances.
This allows stable, low-latency transmission of high-resolution image data over distances of up to 100 m.

Traditional CoaXPress (CXP) faced limitations such as short transmission distance, heavy and thick cables, susceptibility to EMI (Electromagnetic Interference), and bandwidth constraints.

By contrast, CoaXPress-Over-Fiber (COF) uses optical fiber to achieve long-distance transmission, higher bandwidth, and EMI resistance, effectively overcoming these issues.
