The hyperspectral camera enables the simultaneous acquisition of spatial information across the X and Y coordinates and wavelength-axis data (spectral information).<\/p>\n

The AHS-052VIR is an industrial hyperspectral camera equipped with Sony\u2019s proprietary IMX992 sensor, a highly advanced sensor based on Sony\u2019s unique technology. It features the industry\u2019s highest-resolution<\/span>\u203b<\/span> image sensor, enabling high-precision imaging.<\/p>\n

It captures spectral information across 1680 bands by dispersing wavelengths from the visible light range (450 nm) to the near-infrared range (1700 nm) along a 2560-pixel line sensor.<\/p>\n

This allows for the analysis and identification of material composition in target objects, making it possible to perform non-destructive and non-contact measurement and inspection of targets that are not visible with regular visible light.<\/p>\n

\u203b <\/span>As of November 2023, based on Sony\u2019s internal research in the field of industrial SWIR image sensors using compound semiconductor InGaAs (Indium-Gallium-Arsenide).<\/p>\n<\/div>
