CoaXPress（CXP）interface was introduced to support the data transfer of high-capacity industrial cameras at high speed. As time passed on, the function of camera sensors has been improved, so has the need for additional speed. In order to meet this change, a new CoaXPress 2.0 Standard has been adopted. APX-36124 frame grabber developed by AVALDATA perfectly supports CoaXPress 2.0 Standard, connecting up to 4 CXP-12 single cameras or 1 CXP-12 quad camera.

With an on-board equalizer from MACOM, it allows data transfer at the speed up to 12.5Gbps, twice faster than the existing CXP standard. It uses DDR4-SDRAM 2GB as an on-board memory and its system BUS supports PCI Express 3.0 (Gen 3) x 8 Lane.
